The holidays are here though its truly hard to admit, what with San Diego weather at its finest. Sure, it’s been cooling down..but if I can still scrub down the boat without my hands losing their feeling..it’s not quite Winter, yet. That being said.. this years San Diego Bay Parade of Lights will be here before we know it! It’s not too early to book a charter with us, either, for we have not booked all of our times as ...Continue Reading →

We love the summer because not only is the sun always shining here in San Diego, we are also booked on the weekends with Wedding sails. This happens to be a personal favorite charter of mine, Weddings. I really just feel honored that a bride and groom has chosen our unique floating venue to share with their family and friends on their special day..plus, then we get to be a part of it.. and with a slice of cake for ...Continue Reading →
We’ve been having all kinds of fun this summer.. one of many events we’ve supported this summer was the National Marine Mammal Foundation’s Benefit Concert at one of our favorite restaurants, the Bali Hai on Shelter Island here in San Diego. A great family friend of ours and President of the Maritime Institute San Diego, known to all as “Rags”, had mentioned that his friend and musician, Eric Stone, was going to be playing at a fundraiser sponsored by the ...Continue Reading →
Yup, you read it right – we just got back from a trip to Catalina Island! Actually, we have been sailing with all kinds of different people and groups this summer, as always, but we’ve just recently found the time to tell you about it – so here we are.
On Tuesday, June 26, at 0550 in the early morning hours when the sky was completely dark, Captain Rodger and Captain Jesse and I were getting the catamaran all set up ...Continue Reading →
As of this morning, Thursday May 10, there are 58 days left in the campaign to assist in fundraising the making of “MURPH: The Movie”, and so with just two months to go, we want to encourage you to get in on this project and support this soon to be documentary that will honor the epic life and story of Navy SEAL Lt Michael Patrick Murphy, recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor but arguably, most importantly, an extremely driven ...Continue Reading →
May snuck up on us early last week and we didn’t hesitate a minute in making sure we were out on the water when it did. Last week we had several charters, but mostly with NAPA Auto Parts. NAPA (National Automotive Parts Association) was created more than 85 years ago, with over 6,000 stores nationwide. The top owners of these stores were invited out to San Diego to relax, recoup, and simply be appreciated. Amongst other adventures, NAPA’s top sellers ...Continue Reading →
While most Monday mornings slowly arrive with trepidation, yesterday’s Monday morning came with sunshine and a Corporate group of 40 guests who were ready to do some open ocean sailing and have a good time – we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
We started our morning early on the docks, getting to the boat around 7AM and making sure everything was clean and ready for our day. We set up the deck chairs out forward, loaded our coolers with ...Continue Reading →
This morning I started thinking about all the awesome things we’ve done on the catamaran, from Birthdays to Bat Mitzvahs, not to mention all the great collaborative events. I was jotting down some dates in our calendar, updating our list of events as the season picks up, and as I got to the month of September it reminded me of last year when we were a part of San Diego’s TriRock for their second year (and ours!). Even though this ...Continue Reading →
Because we are a private charter catamaran here in San Diego, we see all kinds of events, faces, and setups. Just two weeks ago we had an Indian style Wedding onboard complete with vibrant colors of red and orange and pink, then the next day we had a corporate meeting onboard where 35 executives gathered on the couches of our interior salon in their suits and ties to discuss what made 2011 productive and what can make 2012 even better. ...Continue Reading →
San Diego is known for its sunshine and palm trees, its smiling faces and endless activities, but every so often we get some rain and it’s as if the whole city shuts down. Drivers start honking, walker’s start running as raindrops fill the empty streets. I, personally, love our San Diego sunshine however a little storm every now and then keeps things interesting. Plus, who doesn’t appreciate a movie day indoors every now and then, “Captain Ron” anyone?
Well Monday February ...Continue Reading →
